Dana Dion is a contemporary artist known for her atmospheric abstract landscapes. Inspired by the shifting light, colour and rhythms of the natural world, she paints the landscape not as she sees it, but as she feels and remembers it.
Through layered colour, texture and expressive gesture, Dana conveys a sense of atmosphere, movement and emotional connection to place. Her paintings reflect the rest, calm and belonging she experiences in nature.
Dana has worked as a full-time artist since 2005 and has exhibited widely and received numerous arat awards.
